Mental Health Awareness [PART 1]

[PART 1] I cropped bits and pieces from my personal zine to share for Mental Health Day. I drew this 2 years ago and it’s called “Living With It”.

⚠️WARNING: Contains sensitive issues such as sexual assault, mental health and suicide. ⚠️

It took me a long time to open up to friends and family about what I went through. As a result, my mental health took a major toll.

If you’re going through pain, I highly advise to get the help you need whether it’s talking to family, a friend or a professional! Seriously, anybody. Don’t let those awful thoughts and feelings pent up inside. 

Please, don’t give up on yourself. It may seem hard now but trust me, you can overcome it and you’ll be super proud of yourself when you do.
Take care and be kind to yourself.

Practicing using Procreate on my iPad! It’s a freakin’ neat app and now I can sketch anywhere. 🥳 I’ve never been the type to bring a sketchbook outside and draw but with this, it just feels so much easier and I’m less intimidated by empty pages. 😭 Now with the new hairdo, got to make a new avatar! Perhaps turn this into an art banner somehow 🤔
